So excited to be off to West Dean College in May for what has become my annual teaching course there - now in my tenth year! I love it here so much and always leave invigorated and refreshed.
Covering all my specialist textile wire techniques - including Crochet, Knitting and French-Knitting, in an intensive but fun 3-day course.
Follow the projects or make it up as you go along - this class is suitable for beginners and intermediate levels. The only skills you will need are patience and nifty fingers...
The college is set in historic West Dean House in Sussex, former home of Edward James, poet, artist, designer and patron of the Surrealist Movement. It offers a truly inspirational setting for focused study, creativity and innovation.
Visitors come from all over the world to take courses here, returning again and again. Many of the tutors do not teach anywhere else so you will gain unprecedented access to some remarkable makers that will inspire and spark your creativity.
