Victoria Sewart Contemporary Jewellery Gallery was established in 2006 – the first of its kind in Plymouth.

As a successful jewellery designer for over 20 years, opening a gallery was the next logical step for gallery owner, Vicky.

I met Vicky very early on in my jewellery career and was delighted to be invited to sell my pieces through her new gallery in Plymouth.

She was very encouraging and supportive of my fledgling art and we began an enduring friendship lasting over the next 20 years.

For her very special 20th Year Exhibition I have sent an early pair of earrings dating back to that time that have gone on to became part of my ‘signature style’ - combining my love of textiles and of making by hand.
