If you are a Beader, a Knitter, an Embroiderer, a Weaver or just plain nutty about everything textile, I have a class for you. With over 10 years of teaching these specialist wire techniques I give you tips and tricks that you won’t find in any books.

If you are new to crocheting with wire I recommend my Beginners Wire Crochet Class - specifically designed for complete beginners even if you have never crocheted before - you will be amazed what you can achieve with this highly versatile technique. No experience necessary - just nifty fingers!

Even if you already know how to crochet this project will teach you all about crocheting with wire, how it behaves, what it can and can’t do - and how it opens up a whole new world of 3-Dimensional jewellery design possibilities.

Join me at Cockpit Arts, Holborn for a day of fun making a Crochet Wire Necklace. We make a 3-strand beaded Necklace featuring different stitch variations on each strand.

We will cover the following tasks on the day:

• how to cast-on crochet stitches

• make foundation chain

• add beads into individual stitches

• how to create bead stalk stitches

• how to crochet loops using a slip-stitch

• how to finish off your piece and attach a vintage button clasp

Choose from a large selection of pretty coloured wire and beautiful glass beads to personalise your design.

This class will equip you with all you need to know to get started on your journey of wire crochet jewellery design.

Teri’s class is held in a a large airy studio. She is a talented artist and a good tutor. As a total beginner I was quickly able to pick up the wire crochet. There was a good range of wire and beads to choose from. This class enabled us students to make a delightful necklace which would be easy to repeat at our leisure. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and would definitely recommend it. Susan H.
